I haven’t been around here in a long time

I’ve been busy with life mostly and my projects have really slowed down the last few years. It’s also time for me to start moving stuff
to others to help them get going I guess. Trying to finish up this little project these days. It’s been sitting with strings up to pitch so
I can see what the neck and top do before finish. Now it’s hanging in my shop waiting for its next coat of lacquer. In case someone
is wondering, My grandfather Nick Morell was my early guitar teacher and this is my little tribute to him. He always played the Mandolin
when I was little and I played the guitar to back him up.

Thanks for the likes and comments. I just noticed that I have been a member of this group since 2014. This is only the
second guitar I have attempted . When I started hurting myself lugging around whole sheets of plywood and having shoulder
surgery my son gave me a guitar building book and suggested I do something with a lot less weight as he knew I’ve been
playing all my life I guess. The first one has black walnut sides and back and a cherry neck. I modeled that one after my
Martin D35 as I wasn’t sure about designing my own. It worked out pretty well for first attempt but this second one sounds
so much better and well balanced. Anyway, to complete this story here is my first one as well. Thanks all very much and as I
remember from my past times posting on this site you all are very helpful to each other. Great group of people.

Thanks Matt, Pretty sure that’s going to be it for me. I’m slowing down pretty fast these days and I’ll just sit and play them
