Craftsman 15" v/s lathe question

Does anyone in the TRP area have one of these guys? I would like to look at one, or possible see one being used before I chuck down $500 bucks. I know its not white or mustard color but I think it will do what I need. My dreams of a PM 3520 are start to fade away just like time to turn so I am think about another lathe. I have a HF lathe that I have been using for a year and it has done ok for me but the motor is weak and 12 swing is not enough. If you do have one I would like to know what you think about it good or bad.

If you can get your hands on the March 2003 issue of WOOD magazine, I think they did a review on this tool, along with some comparable models I don't have it, or I'd send it to you, but I did find the review for purchase here. I'm sure someone on the site can check their back issues to see what they say about it.
