I thought I remembered seeing a recipe for homemade wood treatment in one of the forums (for wood borers) that you could mix up, was food safe, spray on type thing. I think it had borax in it, but I'm not at all certain. I've searched the forums :BangHead: with no luck.
Does anyone know of such a thing?
I have some rough sawn, air dried southern yellow pine I want to treat before I bring it inside.

The only real treatment for beetles is heat. 135 degrees Fahrenheit for 24 hours will kill all larvae and eggs as well as the beetles. The treatments using Lindane is dangerous(carcinogen) and borax is spotty at best.
