I think that's a great move and great publicity. I've only been in there a few times as I don't live in the Asheville area, but I originally heard about it through this site, as a woodworker, and never even went there for hardware. Sounds like a great decision to focus solely on woodworkers and to expand your inventory. After all, if I need some nuts and bolts, I'm going to the BORG or Ace Hardware. If I need wood or woodworking supplies, I'm going to a woodworking store. Good for you all and I look forward to visiting the new store next time I'm in town. :icon_thum

I think the reporter did a really good job highlighting the fact that there are still so many skilled woodworkers in WNC despite the major changes in the furniture industry. I hope people in the economic development sector take note!
