Any clear vue mini cyclones out there?

I see on the clear vue website that they are no longer selling the mini due to legal battles with Oneida and their dust deputy. Did they every get these into the retail chain or were they only sold directly from clear vue? I would like to buy one but perhaps I am far too late and will have to go with the Dust Deputy.

This will be primarily for keeping ROS dust out of the shop vac filter; I am hopeful that I can separate that fine dust before it hits the filter; right now I can't go 3-minutes without a noticeable decrease in suction.

Have you tried a Cleanstream HEPA filter on your shopvac? http://www.cleanstream.com/
I can go weeks without any pre-seperation. ~$35 at Lowe's.

I have not seen this before; so you just tap the shop-vac after you are done and the dust falls off?

When my vac is full I take it out to the woods and dump it. The filter comes off and I give it a good shake and then pluck the pleats at the same time. Huge surface area and can be washed with soap and water too. Mine is ~4 years old hooked up to a Fein Turbo II.
