8/4 Poplar cutoff needed

I need to get a hold of a piece of clear, 8/4 poplar, about 9" X 14". I'm going to use this to make a birthday present (name puzzle stool) for a fine young man. I am willing to pay for it and pick it up.

Bobby send a PM to IVEY and SAW4YOU in case they do not see this tread. They both mill poplar. Ivey is down near Wilmington and Jack is near Youngsville.

Bob, I looked through my wood stash this afternoon, and unfortunately I do not have a piece of Poplar in the size you can use. However, if a different species would work for you, I would be happy to give you a piece of either Maple, Cherry, or Walnut in the size you need. Just let me know.

Bobby I have some poplar trunk sections that I could probably cut ya a piece out of . Can you do the finish milling ? How soon do ya need it ?
