Are there any stores in the triangle that sell 1/32" plywood. Some hobby shops sell 12" x 24" sheets of birch for making planes, but I haven't had any luck finding one. Ideally, I'm looking for a few sheets of 1/32" walnut.

I have not heard of any plywood thinner that 1/8"???:icon_scra

If you really mean 1/32" thick, have you thought about looking at a veneer? All kinds of varieties available - ie Woodcraft, Klingspor, Rockler.

My guess is that it is only available thru mail order. Good supplier is Midwest Products Co www.midwestproducts.com A recent flier shows 1/32 birch ply in either 6x12,12x24 or12x48 and 1/32 walnut at 3x24

Thanks Phil. I'll look in to Midwest Products Co. They have a retailer that is about 30 minutes away. If they don't carry what I want, I guess I'll have it shipped in.
