    Hi everyone, Usually, when my 10" resaw is too small, I go over to the university and they can help me out. But their max capacity is 12". So if you can cut this block and would be willing to help me out, I'd appreciate it. I'm not looking to make veneers, Just 3 or 4 slices...

    So, I don't like the color of light woods...I would much prefer darker ones but I have some 350+ BF of figured maple in my backyard:gar-Lo: . Some quilted, tiger, whatever, I haven't planed it all yet and I'm not good enough to gauge it before planing. My question is, can I stain quilted/tiger...
