Anyone have any powder post beetle chemical treatment left over?

I am planning to make a preventative treatment of some lumber that I bought showing evidence of powder post beetles (or other boring insect) just in case they are still active. I can't find a chemical that is sold in anything less than 1-gal, does anyone in the Apex area have some remnant...

Powder Post Beatle Hole ?

Is there anyone out there that has any experience in filling those wee powder post beetle holes in wood? They are only about the size of a pin-head, but if there are a lot, that is a little too much "character" for me. I have tried wood fillers in the past, but all I end up with are white...

powder for draw finish

Clearance Powder coat gun and makita angle grinder at Southpointe Sears

I went to Sears today and they have a powder coat gun for $46.97 on clearance (regularly $189). They also have some powder for $1.97 (reg 5.99). They have a 4 1/2" Makita angle grinder for around $46 in the clearance tool area. These items are at the Southpointe Sears store in Durham. Amy

Powder post beetles in Oak

This weekend we were jointing and planing some red and white oak that was from our air dried lumber. We had brought it up the to attic of my workshop about one year ago. I thought the heat in the attic would help deter any powder post beetles. I know this summer the temperature during the day...

Powder coated Bullet pens.

Made these this weekend. cozee from penturners.org gave some suggestion that made glueing and polishing alot better and easier. powder coated brass, #1 Leopardwood/ Gold #2 Bethlehem Olive Wood/ Copper #3 Ironwood/ Copper #4 Leopardwood/ Copper #5 African Blackwood/ Gold
