potato's on the lathe!

I saw this a year ago and wanted to try it. So today we fried up a pile of potato's and deer meat for my students to eat. It is a great way of fixing a potato. They fry up very crispy. Jack

Potato on the Lathe, yes, we did it!

Thanks to this inspired post, I conspired with my Dad to do this for our family Christmas breakfast potato dish! You can see two of sides of our culinary turning project! It worked pretty well. The deep fried part was actually harder than the turning. Word got out what we were up to...

day one potato bath for Rust removal...
