Oil for planer
A little perplexed here. I want to change the oil in my planer (15" jet; open stand version of this one) because I have no idea how many hours are on it. For oil, the manual says to use: "HD-100, Mobil Gear 627, Shell Omala 100, ESSO Spartan EP-100" Is that anything like 90W gear oil...- chris99z71

best way to oil figured maple ???
Hello All, I just snagged a nice 12 " plank of tiger maple from Cap City Lumber and will be useing some of it for a small table top. I would like to keep it pretty light and really show it off with a wipe on oil. Any suggestions about useing dye then oil ? Thanks in advance, you guys have been...- Mike W.

Hot Mineral Oil?

Looking to buy Val Oil
And I cannot seem to find it in stores any more. Anyone ever used it or know where I can find it or a similar product? Its manufactured by Valspar I believe. I love the stuff, makes a great finish on old tools. Andrew- Mavawreck07
