For those of you with an 8" grinder...
I just picked up a Delta 8" variable speed grinder (1725 -3450 RPM), and while far from being non-usable, there is a decent bit of vibration. I took one of the wheels off and rotated it 180 degrees and reinstalled it, dressed both wheels, all the things that seemed like common sense to me...- Ben325e

Grinder suggestions?
I am thinking about getting a 6-8" grinder for quickly adjusting the angle of chisels. Right now I am doing the scary sharp thing with a Veritas jig. I have not had much luck with micro bevels. I have my bench chisels at 30 degrees. I am thinking about using a grinder to quickly get to 25...- eyekode

Lowes in Clinton is running clearance on their Delta 8" Variable Speed Grinder. Current price is $118.00. With my military discount, I paid about $106.00. This grinder got mixed reviews on Amazon. Bench grinder wheel wobble question
I am just discovering how important it is to have sharp cutting tools and have brought a new 8" Ryobi bench grinder from Home Depot. Large Tree Removal... went to the tub grinder
We had a large tree removed. We live in the City of Charlotte and paid a fortue to have this tree removed. There is no market in Charlotte for 7.5 ton 6 foot sections of Willow Oak. No one wants to deal with the weight and worry about what fence, nails, cloths line pulley, etc... have grown...- DonnellyJT

Clearance Powder coat gun and makita angle grinder at Southpointe Sears
I went to Sears today and they have a powder coat gun for $46.97 on clearance (regularly $189). They also have some powder for $1.97 (reg 5.99). They have a 4 1/2" Makita angle grinder for around $46 in the clearance tool area. These items are at the Southpointe Sears store in Durham. Amy- adowden

Router speed control for Grinder?
Has anybody ever put one of these on a grinder? Or can anyone see a reason why it wouldn't work? Seems like an inexpensive way for me to make my grinder a varible speed..:icon_scra- NCTurner
