John C. Campbell Folk School???

My week at John C Campbell Folk School

Anyone who has thought about going, don't think, just go. The wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were not fancy, but clean and just right, food for the most part was awesome, couple things they served I didn't care for. The staff is great, it was just a great experience all...

John C. Campbell Folk School

Friend of mine has a place in the mountains not far from this school and visited it once. Brought home a catalog. This school looks awesome with tons of craft related classes. I'm seriously thinking of taking one of their advanced turning classes. What better way to spend a week vacation...

Folk School Vacation

I'm thinking about spending a week in the NC mountains at the John C. Campbell Folk School. Jim Burrowes is having a class in turning fundamentals. I figure it's a good way to get some hands on instruction and relax for a week in a beautiful setting. Any thoughts? Has anybody ever been there...
