Two Part Oak Vessel

I wanted to see if I could turn a blank, cut it into two pieces while on the lathe, chuck and hollow each piece, then glue them back together. The eventual plan is to do bigger pieces and leave a much smaller opening at the top. I burned several lines into the vessel - one of them is actually the seam where I glued it back together
