VICMARC LATHE, Possible future Gloat

I have been thinking about buying a midi lathe after selling my full sized General. In my sniffing around I have come across a Vicmarc VL200 that is in great shape that I may not be able to pass up even though it is somewhat larger than what I was looking for. After researching the brand, I have come to the conclusion that it is a quality machine. Does anyone own a Vicmarc or have any knowledge of them - Pro or Con ?? Any info would be appreciated.

They are a very high quality lathe from Australia. Imported and supported on the west coast by Woodworker's Emporium, I've seen some of their larger lathes on a wood turning website.

They are well-respected outside the us and gaining ground here. Very high dollar equipment though.

I've heard nothing but good things about them. I have no personal experience though.
