Veritas scraper burnisher users out there?

I took Steve Coles most excellent advice on getting a Veritas scraper burnisher for turners as below.....

....and it has opened an entirely new door for me to use my scrapers for 220 grit finishes. Thank you Steve. I was wondering what good a scraper could be.

What I am wondering is if any other Veritas scraper burnisher users have any hints or tips on using it. Right now I am just burnishing as much as I can (after honing the top of the scrapers) to get an incredibly effective finishing tool. I read about burnishing to different degrees for different situations but I am just getting on it with all the leverage I can muster.

I use one too on my scrapers ... but can't say that I do anything special. I usually go from the grinder to the burnisher, and then pass a couple of times top of the scraper down on it.

One thing I'm looking at now in the way of "next step" improvements is a Negative Rake Scraper w/ a burr.
