The Last Marblewood Wand of 2010

For a friend's daughter.

I've been wanting to make a wand for a while. Watching a J.K. Rowling interview on Oprah yesterday got me inspired to conjure up one. I'm stepping out on a limb here, but I think it's safe to say this is the very last marblewood wand manufactured anywhere during 2010. :dontknow:

Made in two parts (handle and shaft). I actually made a cherry burl handle first, but didn't like it. Used CA for the finish. Total length = 13-1/4"

BTW, I just ran out of phoenix feathers, dragon heartstrings, and unicorn hair (used them all on a steam bent stair rail I'm making), so this wand is unlikely to work. :tinysmile_cry_t:
