The only misstep is the local mom-n-pop hardware store has oak plugs (to hide the screws holding it to the wall), but the plugs are all end grain. :BangHead:
Her friend may wait until the quilt is done before mounting the rack, so that should give me time to get the plugs. She lives in an older house, and I did not verify that her mounting location has 16" OC studs, so I did not pre-drill any screw holes. I may leave that to her hubby (the same cat who put up a 30'x30' dog lot, using T-posts, and didn't want to borrow my T-post "driver". He went the hammer-n-wood block route). :roll:
