On the way back from Doug's house tonite I stopped at the Lowe's in Wake Forest
They have Mibro Industrial plug cutters in various sizes marked down from, $4 and change to $1.14, $ 1.27 etc
Have no idea if they are worthy but at that price I figured I'd score some for when I become a real woodworker :gar-La;

It's a plug cutter ... that doesn't require much in the way of quality, I think. At that price ... must be a good deal!

Robert, I was in that Lowes this evening as well and had the same thoughts. At that price, I picked up a couple and also a couple of Bosch Router Bits they had on sale for 50% off.

Also, (not to change the subject) the home depot in WF has the Ridgid 6" jointer on sale for $324.

We'll see how long the Plug Cutters last.

Nice score Robert, many months ago I purchased the same in sets and individual bits in NJ and so far they have worked well in the limited usage I have given them. I would caution though as has been pointed out in another thread ALWAYS clamp your stock when cutting plugs DAMHIKT :gar-La;
