Hey all, I just added a new pic in my album of cocobola hearts for my wifes valentine. Hope you like it!

Did you cut it as one piece or separate pieces? Did you just eyeball the shaping? Did you hand sand or use a sander? What kind of finish did you use? How will you hang it?

thanks for the compliments. the hearts were cut out of cocobola, and the connecting pieces of purple heart. Basically, I made a pattern on the computer with Pattern Wizard and cut each peice out individually. Then got out my trusty old Dremel and started the shaping, all by eye. The heart shapes were from one of the Microsoft Office programs, Word I think. After fit and shaping were done, all pieces were glued together with 5 minute epoxy then finished with 2 coats of Deft. Wifey hasnt decided if she wants to stand it or hang it yet. Thanks again!:icon_thum

Really nice job. The design is great and the wood is awsome!
