Keep us posted on you experience with the HF.
My trials with the Jet Mortising attachment have ceased. Upon retracting the chisel the spindle/chuck slipped down. I stopped, cleaned, and reinstalled it. Then I noticed the spring tensioned handles would not spring back. After readjusting tension, I noted the entire spindle assembly kept hanging up in one spot. After talking with support, the consensus is the worm screw may be damaged. Hmmm, twenty-nine days after 1 year warranty ran out :BangHead:
Summary of review: forget about using drill press with mortising attachment. :rbedface:
