Nice work cathy.:icon_thum:icon_thum you certainly have more patience than I do. those are cool. I tried to do some collapsible bowls once with the SS and well...... they collapsed!:gar-Bi

I tried collapsible bowls a long time ago - baaaaaad. These are much easier!

This is all cut from one peice and then turned a few degrees and glued down? Looks very cool.

http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/ Steve has a ton of free patterns. He might want to you to "join" his blog to have access. That particular basket is on page three about 1/2 way down on the right - titled the Wobble bowl, and it comes in two sizes. I think that all the baskets I have done recently have been from his site.

Thank you. I'd been using polycrylic for light wood and wipe-on poly for the rest . I prefer Danish oil, but it takes so long to have the smell disappear. Read on another forum to let the oil dry for a couple of days and then spray with poly. This apparently gives the advantage of the oil finish for the grain and seals in the smell. I haven't tried it yet.
