So that is 0.0531" or about 1/19" and 10' diameter.

The Freud Diablo D0740 7-1/4" 40 tooth saw blade is 0.059 or about 1/17"

Theirs is $175.
Mine is $15.

Mine will cut a little over 1" deep
Theirs about unsure but looks like about 2"

You be the judge. The say it is really smooth and it better be for the price. Mine makes a darn nice cut and a whole heck of a lot cheaper!

I use the Freud all the time in my box making to cut the lid off or make thin spline slots.

Just my .02 worth.

Sold! I don't have a thin kerf but now I want one. Lookin' for that Freud now...

Hmmm, says for circular saws. Can I use this on my table saw?

The only thing I have found that the Diablo 40 tooth blades don't cut well is double sided melamine. But I have some $80 plus blades that are designed for melamine that don't cut it well either.
