Hey! From Holly Springs, NC

Hello,

I live in Holly Springs N.C. I guess I’ve always played around with woodworking. My dad had a few woodworking tools and I made things with them. I guess like a lot of you I got serious about woodworking when I bought my first house. My current shop is a 16x24 detached garage with 1-1/2 stories. I didn’t have room for more square feet on the first floor so I decided to build up. The original plan was to use both the downstairs and upstairs for shop space, but the plan changed and the upstairs is now my man cave (or doghouse at times). I guess my biggest challenge in the small shop is getting everything mobile and organized.

I work as a CAD Designer/drafter. I like to build furniture, restore old furniture and antiques, and of coarse buy new tools!

I look forward to getting to know some of the members and to using the forum!
