Grizzly 1023 aftermarket splitter suggestions

I actually still use the 10+ year old original blade guard on my G1023. However it is quite flimsy and I'd like to make a safety upgrade. Is there any real alternative to the Shark Guard at $150? The cost id OK the only thing that gives me pause is that the rear end of plastic doesn't fully shield blade like the original. Are there ant others worth considering?

I have heard of a bolt on system riving knife called the BORK, that might be retrofitted to your saw . Scroll down the link page and you will see the BORK.

Are you wanting a guard or a splitter?

I had the Biesemeyer splitter on my PM66, and although pricey, it did a very nice job, and I would buy it again.

If you are wanting a guard, I had an Excalibur, and it was a nice setup for the price with integrated dust collection.
