Greene & Greene address sign

When I went to my brother's house is Maine this summer, I noticed his address sign was just some cheap numbers on a piece of 2x6. He has a beautiful lodge style house, and I thought that it deserved a better sign. This was a picture frame plan that I enlarged to about 13" x 13". Mahogany with ebony plus - and a lot of coats of marine varnish. The back is rabbeted with a piece of ceramic tile glued in.

I really like the ceramic tile idea, as that should last for a very long time and I am sure that he will receive plenty of positive comments.
