Ed, we must have been typing at the same time. I did not see your response before I posted mine. The Stonecrest parking lot is perfect if everyone else is good with that. Jeremy, is that OK with you?

There is a Wendy's there and we can just meet inside and sync up. How's that?

Works for me! Jeremy, would it be easier to meet you up on 16? I'm trying to think of a good place.

Is this still a go at 1 pm today? I ask because our weather forcast is a high of 47 with a wind chill of closer to 38. And yes, I'm afraid we'll have less attendance than if the weather was less unpleasant.

I am probably not going to make it. I've had a cold and probably shouldn't be out in the wind and cold

For those in the Charlotte area, a couple of us are going to meet up at Bob Evans restaurant on Harris Blvd at the I77 exit at 11am for a bite to eat before heading to Kyles. Come join us!

Although the wind was a little biting, it was a great time at Kyle's! Kyle was a great host and explained the process of making lumber to all who attended. For those who didn't make it, you missed a very informative gathering!

Here's the photographic evidence!

Cathy and I had a great time at Kyle's and meeting everyone else. We appreciate Kyle letting us see his setup and telling us about how it works.
They more photos in my album ( odd & Ends )

jeff...

I really tried to make it but couldn't :-(. I wanted to mainly meet Kyle and see the Lucus in action - never met kyle in person or seen a Lucus saw. Looked at all the pictures, I'm loving T-Bone, Ribeye and Filet... mmm... they are making my mouth water :-D.

It was a good time for sure! Would have liked it a bit warmer and less windy but at least it didn't rain :eusa_danc

Thank you Kyle! The demo was very interesting, the cookies and brownies were delicious, and the company was wonderful. It was really a pleasure meeting everyone today. Thanks again for hosting us Kyle!
