"Floating" Bowl

Months ago I saw a picture of what was being called a floating bowl. Meaning the bottom of the bowl was elevated above the surface it sat on by way of legs turned at the same time the bowl was created.

Thought I'd give it a try, and am not all that sure I like the result but what the heck, I'll let you all decide. Magnolia and Walnut, that turned out to be a covered dish (candy dish?)

Oh and what a knuckle buster sanding the bottom!
