OSB Sheathing - How many screws?
I'm almost done hanging the OSB sheathing on the stud wall in the shop but I'm starting to have second thoughts about the number of screws I'm using. I didn't want to go nuts, waste a bunch of screws, and have a screw head in the way every time I wanted to hang something. Then again, I don't...- cpw

Need advice on painting OSB
So I am getting ready to paint the walls and ceilings and maybe the floor of the new shop. Any advice that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. The plan so far is to do it with a long nap roller. I do not have a sprayer and I don't think I want to buy and learn how to properly use one...- MarkE

where can I find some osb or plywood siding???
I'm going to build my kids a playhouse for Their birthday. I want to put plywood siding or osb siding on the exterior, so the exterior will be a "one step" process. Anywhere know a place to buy this stuff that is cheaper then lowes or Home Depot? I think they want around $15-$20 for it there...- taandctran

OSB vrs plywood walls
My last shop had plywood panel walls. I really liked having walls I could attach directly to. I just finished a 25' X 25' shop in OSB. I thought I would add to this discussion. Plywood, OSB, or sheetrock?
What's everyone using for their shop's interior walls. Pros and cons? How about finishing? My garage walls are mostly unfinished (the wall shared with the main house is drywalled) and I'm trying to decide what to use on them. Drywall or OSB?
I just assumed that I would put up drywall in my shop when I finish the insulation, but I see from the gallerys here that some of you use OSB. What are the pros and cons? I would appreciate your comments. Ken- Ken Couch
