kill

How to kill a holly

I had a few holly trees I cut several years ago and despite no matter what I try they keep coming back as a bush. Both are in no location to dig up, set fire to or dynamite the root balls. How do I terminate them?

How to kill wood worms?

Iam new to wood working so people please forgive my ignorance.I am making a couple of fire place mantles out of red oak and it has worm holes in it.What i am wondering is how i can make sure all these little guys are dead before i stain and poly. Any suggestions guys thanks!
