This project was a blast to do. I learned an awful lot about how to fix minor errors. Also learned and about and was exposed to many new jigs for routing and joinery. It was a week well spent!
I recently attended the advanced joinery class at Jeffry D. Lohr's Woodworking Shop in Schwenksville, PA. He is a great teacher and willingly shares his jigs and how he builds his furniture. Check out his website at jdlohrwood.com
Stickley No. 74 book rack from plans in Popular Woodworking. I know that quartersawn white oak is traditional, but I had a wide board of cherry that let me make the piece without any glue. And, I get to watch the cherry darken over the next decade or so :-).
