This is related to the other posting on this forum regarding the Dale Nish demo on Friday, 2/5. You should also take in the exhibit at the Gregg Museum gallery in the Talley Student center - about 2 blocks west of Thompson Hall where the workshop is being held on 2/5. This exhibit will be in place through May 15, so even if you don't make the event this Friday, you have time to drop by the gallery sometime. The exhibit features some amazing examples of woodturning.

There's a parking deck in between Thompson Hall and Reynolds Coliseum that's free in the evenings and weekends. Walk west from there past Reynolds to the Talley Center. The Gregg Museum gallery is open Mon - Friday noon to 8:00 PM and Saturday/Sunday 2:00 to 8:00 PM

Here's a link to the Gregg Museum http://www.ncsu.edu/gregg/

Jim,

Thanks for the info. If it's a demo / exhibit / show about wood / woodworking / tools, it must be worth a visit.
