Wood for turning

A few days ago there was a post about wood suitable for turning which I can't seem to find. One of the responses came from Mike Davis saying he could use some 2" and 3" stuff. I looked through my shed and found I had quite a few pieces of black walnut. Minimum thickness was 1 1/2" and it went up to 2 3/4". Widths varied from 2" up to 4 1/2" and lengths went from 17" to 38". A total of 27 pieces. So I have it all off the shelf and in the way. I figured if you are interested and could pick it up I could give it to you and you could give a donation to the site. If you only want a few, that's okay too. Eighteen of the pieces are around 24" or slightly less. Nine run from 32" to 38".

I'm over to the east of Jordan Lake, just inside Chatham County. When could you stop by? Mike indicated he was interested in 2" and 3" stuff and that's a few of the pieces. Don't know what length he needed.

Roy,
I can come over there after work tomorrow. I’d have to check google to see how long it would take.

PM your address if that’s ok.
