wood bleach

So what is up with wood bleach. I can't find it anywhere.

I have a walnut washstand that I am having a few color issues. It has some really dark spots from pitting in the wood - gnarliness from a burl. I thought that I would bleach the top and the rest of the piece and then color it to give it an even color overall.

I was planning on using a 2 part peroxide wood bleach. I can't find the stuff. It use to be everywhere. Where has it gone? Are there new substitutions?

Amazon has the percarbonate (oxygen bleach) pretty cheap.

I'd be curious if anyone has tried Citric Acid on wood?

Jerome: I get my two part bleach from Woodcraft. Ic comes in a box with two bottles. You add one part of each into a separate container, then apply. I usually am bleaching various maples with coloration in them and it works great. If I work at it enough, I can get the wood an even white. The bleaching is just "skin" deep. Enthusiastic sanding will reveal the underlying color.
