Making the Sketch Up design work in the shop.

The design.

Putting together the joinery.

Before the leg tapers were cut.

After cutting the tapered legs and inserting the end panels.

Just about ready for final sanding and finishing of the front and back sub-assemblies before glue up. BTW, the LOML and I enjoyed a few more bottles of the wine along the way! ccasion1

Gotta make and fit the doors yet so there's lots to be done. Don't know how this piece will be finished, but it sure won't be firewood. :dontknow: This prototype may end up being the final piece!

Hello Jeff, long time without corresponding with one another. :icon_thum

I think that the wood is EWP (select grade from Lowe's in Roxboro). It works nicely, but it's not cheap stuff; however, it works for my needs.
