Anyone have a good idea for storing try squares/combination squares/machinist squares? I have about a dozen of them that I have accumulated over the years. I have them hanging on the wall, but they take up a lot of wall space and somtimes vibrate off and hit the floor - not good for accuracy. I was thinking about something like chefs use to store their knives. Any space saving suggestions?

Mike: I think I saw a cabinet (simple) in Shop Notes or WoodSmith not too long ago for storing squares. If I can find it, I'll copy the article and send it to you.

I don't have a pic, but I have what you could say is a little shelf with saw kerfs perpendicular to it holding mine. I have about 10 in a 16 inch long wall space. If you do go this route, use plywood, not solid wood. DAMHIKT.

Rick: Go to Shopnotes.com and look at the plans for the Utility Cabinet and the Tool Cabinet. You might get an idea from the door panel where they show squares being stored. Hope this helpsl
