Since there is not a program designed to clean up the classifieds, would anybody whos used them in the last year please check to see if anything of theirs is still listed after it's been sold. Right off the bat Michael Garner has five ads up of stuff that has already changed hands including a woodmaster and a large jointer that were sold months ago, you may also have forgotten about some items. Cleaning it up would make it easier for people that want to surf through them.

We have to clean up our site and not expect somebody else to do it.

Thanks in advance.

Perhaps looking at the time-date stamp placed on them at the moment they are entered. (updates would not count) and after a two week "life expectancy" they would be deleted. Period. If the item didn't sell, or it was an ongoing ad - they would need to re-enter it.

Just a thought and suggestion to keep the classifieds meaningful.

There is a command link in the User Options in each Ad to Move/Delete the Ad.

Just EDIT the ad, then at the very bottom is a checkbox to DELETE. Check it, then SAVE and it deletes. Odd design, but it works.
