I thought that you would be the person most likely to have one.Good luck finding one. They are reasonably hard to find. I have only seen two in the wild... and one was a Bedrock 605.5. I bought both but they are the only two I've ever seen.
I have 2 in a watchlist. We'll see how the price holds up.There are a few listed on eBay. That's where I got mine.
There is one in Virginia beach. Ain't cheap.

Yesterday, a Type 18 went for $225 plus shipping. If I'm going to spend that much, I might as well wait for Lie-Nielsen to get them back in stock.I just looked at eBay and.... Wow. I can't believe those prices.
I appreciate the link, but I already have a 5½C, and if i'm going to spend that much, I may as well buy a Lie-NielsenThere is a very fine 5-1/2 C on Jim Bode Tools for $265. Expensive but in perfect condition.

I'm not so sure. According to Patrick's Blood and Gore (The Superior Works - Patrick's Blood & Gore: Preface), the 5½H was discontinued in 1924, & everything that I can see dates this one to the 1930s or laterThink the seller is saying this is a 5 1/2 H
I didn't consider that. There are a couple on ebay that are better deals, for now, so I'll see how my luck goes with those first.Matt, maybe one of our members from the VB area could pick up that plane I posted above and we could Pony Express it to you.
