Stanley #13-052 plough plane. Is this a good price?

Hello. I recently bought this plough plane for about $30 and the shipping was $42 from Canada. I was wanting your opinions about it as I am unfamiliar with this plane. And about the price. Was it a good buy?

Any chance you could post a larger pic? It looks to be in good condition, but it's hard to tell from the small pic.

price for the plane is awesome, but the shipping killed it, IMHO

That said, as long as you put it into use, it'll well be worth it

It appears to be in good condition, and judging from the handle, I'd say it is a newer version. $72 is probably a fair price if you intend to use it. On the other hand, if you bought it as an antique or collectable tool, it may not qualify as either of those.

Something about the handle seems odd to me. Stanley may have produced this model just for Canada / UK. They've been known to do that.
