Not sure if this is the proper forum, but, here goes anyway!

My solar kiln is empty at the present and will probably be for some time. If any NCWW member has any green lumber you'd like to dry, you are welcome to use the kiln. No charge for using it.

I've dried a LOT of cypress and 600bf or so of white oak, all with good results. If you're interested, let me know. I'll furnish the stickers, as I have a ton of 'em.

Maximum "easy loading" length is 10', but you might hand load it with 12' stuff. Capacity is around 800 bf.

Given time, it will dry oak down to 10% or so. Softer woods will dry quicker. I've dried mill run cypress down to 12-15% in 45 days. All depends on the amount of sun we have. :wsmile:

Just a little "payin' it forward!"
