From a cursory search most of the ones I've seen in 1" have 6tpi but the 1/2" is 8tpi.:dontknow: I'm gonna look a little more and see how quickly I could get one. Otherwise the first one might get the bolt/nut/insert treatment. :gar-Bi
Thanks for the tip on depth, if I end up going this route I'll try to go a little deeper without boring through the top.....but then again if I do I can get it flush and it'll be a "design enhancement" and be what Mike suggested to start with. :icon_thum
