Looking for a place around Charlotte to send router bits, planner knives and such for sharpening. Used a place near the Panthers stadium years ago but can not remember the name. If I can find a place on the South side I may drop stuff off and have them ship it back to me. I try to stay out of Charlotte as much as possible.

Dynamic Saw in Buffalo NY is just an $8.95 priority mail box away. Any amount of weight, so long as it fits into box. I sent my brother and his wife for their birthday/ anniversary, two bags of biscutt mix and some country ham. Box weighed over ten pounds. Several here have used Dynamic, and been very happy with their work.http://www.dynamicsaw.com

Keye,
Farris Belt and Saw maybe the place you went to before. They are about 1/2 block off of South Tryon St. They should be able sharpen anything you got. They have a website www.farrisbelt.com
Cutter's Edge sharpens saw blades and knives. I don't know if they do router bits. Hope this helps.

I've used Charlotte Saw and Knife on West Palmer (off S. Mint a few blocks south of Panther's stadium) for tablesaw and Festool sawblade sharpening. Richard, Lisa and Karen are very nice folks. They know what to do, do it very well and don't have time to fool around with small talk. I think Freud refers most of their customers there. Be sure to lock you car in this neighborhood...kind of scary area.
