Shapeing soft wood on a router table.

There is a guy in NY that wants to use a table router to cut out fuselage sides for RC airplanes. Can anyone here pass along some advice on cutting soft wood shapes with a router?

Looks like he has gotten some good suggestions. The only way I would do it with a router is with a template set up where the balsa would ride on the template and be clamped to it. Still, I would want a very low speed with balsa being so soft.
