Compound Cut Christmas Present Ornament.
The design is beautiful and comes from a previous issue (Winter 2021 Issue 85) of @scrollsawwoodworking by @foxchapelpublishing
After photocopying the pattern, I ripped down a piece of walnut on my @rikon_powertools table saw to a 1 1/2 inch square strip and attached the pattern with clear packing tape and drilled my pilot holes.
The piece was too small to get a good grip on, so I used my Compound Cutting Jig that @robertcoant made me and I had great control cutting it out with number 12 blades on my @deltamachinery Scroll Saw!
After cutting I sanded all the tedious areas with a diamond needle file set that a subscriber sent me and then, I gave it a final sanding with high grit @klingsporswoodworkingshop sandpaper and gave it a finish of several coats of @rustoleum clear gloss!
Fun little project to put on the Christmas Tree!
