I purchased this bandsaw in August 2010 from Woodcraft for $899.00 as part of my plan to set up a woodworking shop for personal use as a hobby. I have since decided woodworking is not for me. This saw is a heavy duty, fullsize bandsaw, and comes with an enclosed base, It has a 1 1/2 HP motor and easily cuts through hardwood, has ball bearing blade guides, and gear driven head adjustment assembly. BTW, The $700 is just an asking price. A starting point, if you will. The dollar is very strong now, so...... maybe 6 or so Benjies staring him/her in face.... you never know!:tool:

I would love to have this bandsaw in my shop but they go on sale for 700$ pretty often. I don't think I would pay 500$ for the saw used unless it came with some extras (mobile base?). But then again I am very cheap.

I'm thinking of going to look at this saw this afternoon. I can't afford it, but want to check it out in case anyone on here is interested. It's only about 10 minutes from my house. Maybe talk to him and see how firm he is on the price and if there is any extras that come with it.

But, as the ad stated, he/she purchased in Aug of 10, Im sure the Warranty follows the Tool, not the person who bought the Tool. So, there is a little value added, knowing there is low risk to buying.

Again, $700 is just a starting point, go for it, Throw $500 out there and see what happens.

I offered him $600, but said he had offers of $650 and was trying to get $675. I did pick up a Dw734 planer that he was going to list later. Looks brand new also. I have a 733, but wanted to see if the 3 blades are that much difference. Haven't tried it yet.

I think his pricing and subsequent offers are fair. Not Killer but good.

Did you mean DW 735 (this has 3 cutters, I have and you will love, congrats).

Thanks! I think the 733 is 2 cutters and the 734 is 12 1/2" with 3 cutters and the 735 is 13" with 3 cutters and a few other extras.
