Quick review:

Drill arrived in a purpose-made blow-molded case. All components: drill, auxilliary handle, depth rod, instruction manual appeared as new.

The drill has a keyless chuck with an atypical ratcheting action. Chuck needs to be extra (hand) tight or prone to slipping.

Drill has variable speed, hammer/no-hammer, forward/reverse with up to 5/8" shank capacity.

Drill includes an LED worklight on the handle. Why on the handle ? I dunno. I was using the drill in bright conditions, so couldn't tell if it was effective, but think it's prolly too far away from the workpiece...

Depth gauge is simple..the depth gauge is tightened using the same motion that tightens the auxilliary handle. I would have preferred a separate thumbscrew.

Chucked up a brand new $4 Vermont American 7/16" masonry bit and drilled holes in 10 year-old concrete. No problemo. Wear hearing protection when drilling concrete or you will go deaf.

Thumbs up on this tool.
