Recently Found Wood Supplier

I just recently found out about a lumber supplier in Greensboro, NC.:eusa_danc

Century Forest Products, Inc.---------KD solid lumber and sheet goods.
They did allow me to pick from the stack to get what I needed to minimize waste.:eusa_clap

No web site (that I know of) but I did list them on the wood suppliers list with a toll free number.:icon_thum

I do not know about the Saturday thing---------you could use the toll free number or one of the email addys to find out though.

I bought back in June. 4/4 FAS/SEL white hard maple was 3.40 bf, 8/4 of the same was 4.00 bf, 3/4x4x8 natural maple plywood was 47.00.

These prices were on small quantities-------------27 bf of 4/4, 13 bf of 8/4 and 1 sheet plywd. The solid lumber was in the rough.

The more volume you buy the lower the price per bf.

The only minimum I am aware of is that they will not cut a board to short length for you. You will have to buy the board in its full length--------that could be anywhere from 6' to the longest length. Pending what they have in the warehouse.
