I have a Delta 50-760 which I am very pleased with but this setup seems to be a real bargain for someone with the ceiling height and should produce major suckage :wsmile:

A classic dust pump... unsafe at any speed as loads of fine dust go right through those bags...

Depending on the hp of the motor and diameter of the impeller, that could make a nice system.

If it has 3 hp (or larger) motor and a 14" (or larger) impeller that could be the basis of a really nice cyclone system. Keep the blower and motor, and throw everything else away. Buy some sheet metal, build a Pentz cyclone, and add two cartridge filters- for less than $500 total investment, you have a $1000 cyclone based DC system.
