so, I'm gearing up for a cabinetry project and I was thinking about having to cut cabinetry grade plywood. Until now the only ply I have cut is for shop fixtures so I haven't been awfully concerned about the edges being 100% dead on and such. As such, I decided that my outfeed system (basically a metal stand with a box sitting on it) wasn't going to cut it anymore.

Well, they say something isn't worth doing unless it's worth overdoing, right?

'nuff said.

the following is a full 4' x 6' made from 3 sheets of 3/4" ply. I am strongly considering laminating the top before its all said and done.

That looks good Greg and it will make your work much safer and easier too. I'd go ahead and put a laminate on it while you have the chance.

Looks great and solid enough to act as a assembly table as well.

+1 on adding a sheet of light colored laminate.
