I do custom band milling on a timberking1600 band mill.We are just starting

I'm from nearby Hendersonville and there are several others in the immediate area -- plus, we formed a club (The Western NC Woodworkers Association) that meets once each month to share projects ideas, tool and material sources, and to hear a woodworker speak on a specialty area. Our next meeting is in early June and we'll be sure to put you on the invite list. And we'll be interested in hearing about your lumber sawing -- do you sell to others or what?

Welcome Michael, don't let anyone kid you, saw milling is indeed woodworking. It's wood and it's a lot of work, the "ing" is you doing the work. Hope you have a sucessful go at making lumber :icon_thum. Running a band mill is very enjoyable, when everything is running good.
